Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Transfer from Marsa Alam | Luxor East Bank Tour

Your journey begins early morning when our driver picks you up from your Marsa Alam hotel in a modern, air-conditioned private car. Relax and enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour drive through the Eastern Desert until you reach Luxor.

Upon arrival, you’ll meet our representative who will assist you with hotel check-in at your 3★ accommodation. After some time to relax, your private Egyptologist will meet you in the afternoon for an unforgettable exploration of Luxor’s East Bank:

Karnak Temple

Step into the grandeur of Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever constructed. Known as Ipet-Isut or “The Most Sacred of Places,” Karnak was expanded over 2,000 years by successive pharaohs. Wander through the breathtaking Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 giant columns that seem to touch the sky, and marvel at colossal statues, obelisks, and sacred lakes that narrate the glory of Ancient Thebes.

Luxor Temple

Continue your journey to Luxor Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Walk along its magnificent colonnade, admire the towering statues of Ramses, and soak in the temple’s magical atmosphere, especially as the sun begins to set. This site once hosted grand religious festivals dedicated to Amun and is still a dazzling sight today.

After your tour, enjoy some free time for shopping at local bazaars before returning to your hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Luxor West Bank Tour | Return to Marsa Alam

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide for a full-day exploration of Luxor’s West Bank—home to some of the most iconic monuments of Ancient Egypt.

Valley of the Kings

Enter the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs, where the walls of each tomb are adorned with colorful hieroglyphs depicting the journey to the afterlife. Visit three remarkable tombs (based on availability) and uncover the secrets of kings like Ramses IV and Merenptah. (King Tutankhamun’s tomb requires an extra ticket.)

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari)

Marvel at the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most successful female pharaohs in history. Nestled beneath dramatic limestone cliffs, this elegant terraced temple stands as a testament to her power and vision. Learn about her reign and the artistic genius behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Colossi of Memnon

End your West Bank tour with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have guarded the Theban necropolis for over 3,000 years.

After an unforgettable journey through Ancient Thebes, relax in your private A/C vehicle as we drive you back to your Marsa Alam hotel, carrying a lifetime of memories.
