Docking in Safaga is your chance to see Luxor, about 220 km and three hours away by road. Your guide meets you at the cruise exit and brings you back to the ship before 6 pm.
You start at Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built, developed from the Middle Kingdom to Roman times, and walk through its Hypostyle Hall. After lunch you cross to the West Bank for the Colossi of Memnon, the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Why does the price change with group size?
The car, driver and guide are shared by your party, so the more of you travel together, the less each person pays.
What do children pay?
Children under 6 travel free, children from 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price, and from 12 years the full price applies.
Are holiday dates different?
