Quick answer: Luxor Shore Excursion from Safaga Port lasts 12 hours in Luxor, from $202.00 per person, with a licensed guide and hotel pick-up.
Overview
Docking in Safaga is your chance to see Luxor, about 220 km and three hours away by road. Your guide meets you at the cruise exit and brings you back to the ship before 6 pm.
You start at Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built, developed from the Middle Kingdom to Roman times, and walk through its Hypostyle Hall. After lunch you cross to the West Bank for the Colossi of Memnon, the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Private air-conditioned transport, entrance fees, lunch and water are included.
The price per person depends on how many travellers share the car and guide, and children get reduced rates: see Prices by group size below.

FAQ
Will I be back before my ship sails?
Yes. We plan every shore excursion around your ship's timetable and return you to the port in good time. Please send us your arrival and all-aboard times when booking.
Why does the price change with group size?
The car, driver and guide are shared by your party, so the more of you travel together, the less each person pays.
What do children pay?
Children under 6 travel free, children from 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price, and from 12 years the full price applies.
Are holiday dates different?
Prices are valid all year except Christmas, New Year and Easter, when rates may differ. We confirm the final price before you pay.
